AWARDED THE PURPLE HEART MEDAL POSTHUMOUSLY AND OTHERWISE ENTITLED TO THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, THE EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN CAMPAIGN WITH THREE BRONZE BATTLE STARS AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. BURIED WITH MILITARY HONORS AT HENRI-CHAPELLE AMERICAN CEMETERY, HENRI-CHAPELLE, BELGIUM. HONORED ALSO AT THE WWII MEMORIAL AT FLORA, ILLINOIS.
