IN CHARGE OF COMPANY COMBAT TEAM WITH THE 503RD PARACHUTE INFANTRY REGIMENT AND PARTICIPATED IN THE SEPTEMBER 1943 AIRDROP ONTO NADZAB, NEW GUINEA. PARACHUTED ONTO KAMIRI AIRDROME DURING THE ASSAULT FOR NOEMFOOR ISLAND, NEW GUINEA BEGINNING JULY 3, 1944 AND FOUGHT IN THE TAKING OF NAMBER AIRDROME TO HILL 380. ARRIVED MINDORO ISLAND, PHILIPPINES BY DECEMBER 1944 AND PARACHUTED ONTO CORREGIDOR ISLAND, PHILIPPINES. FOUGHT WITH GROUND FORCES OF THE 24TH DIVISION'S 3RD BATTALION 34TH COMBAT TEAM ON CORREGIDOR FROM FEBRUARY 16TH THROUGH MARCH 2, 1945 DURING THE LIBERATION OF THE PHILIPPINES. BURIED AT ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY WITH FULL MILITARY HONORS, SEPTEMBER 2002.
