He earned the following personal awards: Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 2 Stars, WWII Victory Medal and Philippine Liberation Medal with 1 STAR.
