Convoy duty from NEW YORK to England, North Africa, Sicily, Persian Gulf, South Pacific, through the Panama Canal, then back to NEW YORK. JANUARY, 1946; USS Converse. NEW YORK to Charleston, SOUTH CAROLINA. Discharged in April 1946 from Lido Beach, NEW YORK. Medals: American Theater, European Theater, Asiatic-Pacific Theater, AND WWII Victory Medal.
