Served with Company L, 110th Infantry, 28th Division, 1st Army. He was a replacement soldier of the 'Bloody Bucket' 28th. Out of Indian Town, Pennsylvania from March 28, 1944 to December 3, 1945. Captured in the Huertgen Forest by the Germans. Prisoner of War for 6 months.
