Left October 9, 1941 from Fort Snelling, Minnesota. He then went to Camp Wallace, Texas for basic training and on to Georgia. He was also stationed at Camp Stuart, Georgia and then went to Washington to depart overseas to Honolulu, Hawaii November 16, 1945 he was discharged from Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
