RECEIVED BATTLE CAMPAIGNS RIBBONS (NORMANDY, NORTHERN FRANCE, RHINELAND AND CENTRAL FRANCE), AMERICAN SERVICE MEDAL, EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN THEATER SERVICE MEDAL WITH 4 BRONZE STARS AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. HE WAS A LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEER IN COMPANY C, 729TH RAILWAY OPERATING BATTALION. WENT INTO SERVICE NOVEMBER 16, 1942 AT FORT HAYES, OHIO. DISCHARGED FROM SERVICE NOVEMBER 16, 1945 AT INDIAN TOWN GAP, PENNSYLVANIA.
