Activity During WWII

He was inducted on August 10, 1942 and served in the Pacific Theater of Operations with the 221st Field Artillery Battalion. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Battle Stars, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 Bronze Battle Star, 5 Overseas Service Bars, 1 Service Stripe and the Good Conduct Medal. He separated from the Army on October 31, 1945.
