BASIC TRAINING AT FORT MONMOUTH, NEW JERSEY DECEMBER 1942, ARMY SIGNAL CORPS RADIO OPERATOR. TRANSFERRED TO U.S. AIR CORPS, EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, FLORIDA MARCH 1943. SERVED IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER WITH 67TH STATION COMPLEMENT SQUADRON, ENGLAND JANUARY 1944. AWARDED 2 BATTLE STARS FOR EUROPEAN CAMPAIGN. HONORABLY DISCHARGED OCTOBER 1945.
