All hands started in France, from there on to Germany, Belgium and Holland. I was picked up later and taken to a line hospital The hospital was bombed and I was taken to Paris, France, where they were going to take my feet off. I refused. I was then shipped to England and was discharged at Camp Butner, North Carolina with 50% disability.
