HE SERVED IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER. HE WAS IN THE 63RD INFANTRY DIVISION. THE UNIT WAS THE 63RD RECONNAISSANCE TROOP. HE WAS KILLED JUST EAST OF HEIDELBERG, GERMANY ALONG THE NECKER RIVER.
