Activity During WWII

Served as Master Sergeant to the Base Surgeon's Office of medical records. He served from October 1940 until June 1945, plus 8 more years. He served in the National Guard from Ohio. Although he was originally with the 112th Medical Regiment (Ohio's 37th Division), he was not sent to the Islands and instead was sent to India where he served in the China-Burma-India Theatre for 3 years.
