LATER SERVED, IN TURN, WITH LANDING CRAFT UNIT 38, NAVY 128, PEARL HARBOR, TERRITORY OF HAWAII; NAVY OPERATING BASE, NAVY 3256, RYUKYUS ISLANDS AND LANDING CRAFT UNIT 40, NAVY 1170, KATCHIN HANTO, OKINAWA. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL WITH ONE BRONZE BATTLE STAR AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A CARPENTER’S MATE SECOND CLASS ON NOVEMBER 6, 1945 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, SHOEMAKER, CALIFORNIA.
