SERVED ABOARD THE VICTORY SHIP SS DARTMOUTH AND AT HEADQUARTERS, 8TH NAVAL DISTRICT, NEW ORLEANS. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL, WWII VICTORY MEDAL AND THE PHILIPPINE LIBERATION MEDAL. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A SEAMAN FIRST CLASS ON MARCH 16, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, NAVAL AIR STATION, NEW ORLEANS.
