ASSIGNED FOR TRAINING TO THE NAVAL MEDICAL SUPPLY DEPOT, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK AND COMPLETED THE EPIDEMIOLOGY AND TROPICAL MEDICINE SERVICE SCHOOL AT THE NATIONAL NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER, BETHESDA, MARYLAND. SERVED AS A PHARMACIST WITH THE 10TH NAVAL CONSTRUCTION BATTALION IN THE PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS, AT THE NAVAL HOSPITAL, NAVAL TRAINING CENTER, SAMPSON, NEW YORK; AND AT THE NATIONAL NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER, BETHESDA. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A CHIEF PHARMACIST’S MATE ON OCTOBER 12, 1945 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, GREAT LAKES, ILLINOIS. EARNED THE AMERICAN DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL, AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL, AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL.
