SERVED STATESIDE WITH C SQUADRON, 2537TH ARMY AIR FORCES BASE UNIT, PERRIN FIELD, TEXAS. EARNED THE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL AND WWII VICTORY MEDAL. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A SERGEANT ON NOVEMBER 28, 1945 AT THE SEPARATION CENTER, SCOTT FIELD, ILLINOIS.
