STATIONED AT RECEIVING STATION, SHOEMAKER, CALIFORNIA; CARRIER SERVICE UNIT 30; CARRIER SERVICE UNIT 20; CORONADO, HEIGHTS ANNEX, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA; AND HEADQUARTERS SQUADRON 14-1, FLEET AIR WING 14. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS AN AVIATION MACHINIST’S MATE THIRD CLASS ON MAY 17, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI.
