Activity During WWII

Drafted in 1943. Basic at Fort Knox, Tennessee. Went to France, 2nd Wave of D-Day. Fought in 5 major campaigns in 4th Armored Division under General Patton. Returned in 1945 at the war's end and was not allowed in U.S. to land due to a dock strike. Was allowed to debark later from ship.
