Collected Scrap Metal. Helped make bandages for the troops. Collected magazines and candy bars, and distributed them to our troops on troop trains at Ashland, Kentucky. Bought Minuteman stamps and war bonds with every cent one got. Appeared at War Bond Rally in Cincinnati, Ohio with my grandfather, an important Cincinnati personality.
