ASSIGNED TO AND SERVED ABOARD THE SUBMARINE TENDER, USS FULTON AS-11, SUBMARINE DIVISION 81. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A SEAMAN FIRST CLASS ON MAY 18, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, GREAT LAKES, ILLINOIS.
