Activity During WWII

Medical Detachment, 4th Rainbow Battalion, 102nd Squadron, under Major Robert B. Cushom, cared for sick and wounded comrades in encounter with enemies. Attended and buried dead. Collected food supplies, clothing, medicine and necessary supplies for co-guerilla activity in the mountains. On February 6, 1945, upon arrival of the Command Liberating Forces, I was attached as a guide in pursuing the Japanese where many were killed, but only two killed from our side.
