COMPLETED THE COOKS SERVICE SCHOOL AT FORT SILL, OKLAHOMA AND QUALIFIED IN THAT MILITARY OCCUPATIONAL SPECIALTY (060). ASSIGNED TO AND SERVED WITH THE 3860TH SERVICE COMMAND UNIT AT CAMP CLAIBORNE, LOUISIANA. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A TECHNICIAN FIFTH GRADE ON SEPTEMBER 10, 1945 AT THAT INSTALLATION. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL.
