Entered Army in February 1941. Served in General Patton's 7th Army in North Africa. Invasion of Sicily 1944. He landed in Southern France with the 7th Army. Later he joined Headquarters Allied Forces in Italy. (3 1/2 years overseas). Retired in 1970 in Fort Meade, Maryland.
