DEPARTED THE CONTINENTAL U.S. ON AUGUST 6, 1946 BOUND FOR THE ASIATIC-PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS. SERVED WITH THE MANILA LEAVE CENTER, LUZON, PHILIPPINE ISLANDS. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A PRIVATE FIRST CLASS ON APRIL 23, 1947 AT THE SEPARATION CENTER, FORT LAWTON, WASHINGTON, PER DEMOBILIZATION PLAN. EARNED THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL.
