SERVED ABOARD OR AT THE LAPWING/BIRD CLASS MINESWEEPER USS GREBE AM-43; ESCAMBIA CLASS FLEET OILER USS PASIG AO-89; SMALL CRAFT TRAINING CENTER, TERMINAL ISLAND, CALIFORNIA; AND THE RAVEN/AUK CLASS MINE CRAFT USS CHAMPION AM-314. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A GUNNER’S MATE FIRST CLASS IN FEBRUARY 1946 AT U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL, PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA. EARNED THE AMERICAN DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL, AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL.
