Returned to U.S. Flew B-24 Liberator via South Atlantic route to Hunter Field located in Chatham County. Successfully completed 36 combat missions and over 300 combat flight hours of single ship unescorted deep penetration night operations behind enemy lines, with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in support of the allied Underground, flying B-24 Liberators.
