SELECTED FOR THE SEABEES AND ASSIGNED IN TURN TO CONSTRUCTION BATTALION REPLACEMENT DEPOT, CAMP PARKS, SHOEMAKER, CALIFORNIA; ADVANCE BASE RECEIVING BARRACKS, U.S. NAVAL BASE, PORT HUENEME, CALIFORNIA; AND CONSTRUCTION BATTALION DETACHMENT 1108, 20TH U.S. NAVY CONSTRUCTION REGIMENT. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A SEAMAN FIRST CLASS ON AUGUST 10, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, GREAT LAKES, ILLINOIS. EARNED THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL BY VIRTUE OF HIS SERVICE DURING THE ELIGIBILITY PERIOD.
