October 1943 to December 1945. Joined underground activities (Guerrilla Warfare) against Japanese forces in the Philippines. Colonel Jesus Villamor organized activities on order by General Douglas Macarthur, Commander, General Headquarters, Far East Command Australia, 1943-1944, prior to the landing of the U.S. Armed Forces in Leyte, Philippines. Stationed in Okinawa, Ryukyus. Command APO-33I, assigned 44th Infantry Regiment, Anti-tank Company, December 1946 to December 1949. Honorably discharged, rank Private First Class.
