Activity During WWII

Served first few weeks of training driving a jeep, then transferred to Infantry. During the fall of 1944, he was injured in France while fighting the Germans. His femur bone was damaged by shrapnel. He died from gangrene three minutes after Christmas Day, December 26, 1944.
