Activity During WWII

9th Army Air Corps. Stationed at Lester, England. Paratrooper and a Glider Pilot. Injured twice, first while on a Commando Raid shot in the leg by a sniper. Went in with the Paratroopers at Normandy. On September 24,1944 his Glider was attacked and he received flak in his back, severing his Spinal Cord. His injury occurred near the Rhine River in Germany, he was 19 years old at the time. After the War he became a Counselor for disabled Veterans. He received many awards for his service, but he passed away February 8, 1985.
