Activity During WWII

Served as a Navigator with the 718th Bomb Squadron, 449th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force. Received the Distinguish Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf Cluster, an Air Medal with 3 Clusters, Armed Reserve Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 Stars and the Victory Medal. Shot down in Munich 7/21/44. Was a POW at Stalag Luft. Liberated by the Russian Army 1945.
