Activity During WWII

Pharmacist's Mate 2nd Class, U.S. Navy Reserve. Landed with the 5th Marine Division on Iwo Jima on February 19, 1945 and was killed within a couple of hours of landing while helping take care of wounded Marines. HE was interred on February 25, 1949 at the Honolulu Memorial American Cemetery, Honolulu, Hawaii; Plot M, Row O, Grave 726.
