AMERICAN CITIZEN WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH AIR TRAINING PLAN, HELD THE RANK OF SERGEANT AND SERVED AS AN AIR GUNNER IN THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE. KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE AT THE AGE OF 20 WHILE ATTACHED TO NO. 15 OPERATIONAL TRAINING UNIT, ROYAL AIR FORCE (BOMBER COMMAND) ON AUGUST 9, 1942. COMMEMORATED ON PANEL 107 AT THE AIR FORCES MEMORIAL AT RUNNYMEDE, ENGLEFIELD GREEN, SURREY, ENGLAND.
