REASSIGNED TO THE 56TH SIGNAL BATTALION FOR FIELD TRAINING AT CAMP BULLIS, TEXAS; MANEUVERS IN LOUISIANA; THEN OVERSEAS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS AS PART OF THE U.S. 1ST ARMY, STATIONED AT COURCELLES, BELGIUM. AFTER V-E DAY, WAS RE-DEPLOYED THROUGH THE PANAMA CANAL TO THE ASIATIC-PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS AND STATIONED ON LUZON OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS. FINALLY SERVED AS MESSAGE CENTER CHIEF NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER AT HEADQUARTERS, U.S. ARMY AIR FORCE-PACIFIC, MANILA, UNTIL RETURNED FOR SEPARATION FROM THE SERVICE AT CAMP ATTERBURY, INDIANA.
