ASSIGNED TO THE 304TH SIGNAL BATTALION AT FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS, FOR ADVANCED TRAINING, THEN BACK TO CAMP CROWDER. REASSIGNED TO THE 56TH SIGNAL BATTALION FOR FIELD TRAINING AT CAMP BULLIS, TEXAS; MANEUVERS IN LOUISIANA; THEN OVERSEAS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS AS PART OF THE U.S. 1ST ARMY, STATIONED AT COURCELLES, BELGIUM.
