AMERICAN CITIZEN WHO SERVED AS A PRIVATE IN THE 4TH PRINCESS LOUISE DRAGOON GUARDS, ROYAL CANADIAN ARTILLERY CORPS. ENLISTED ON OCTOBER 7, 1941 AT WINDSOR, ONTARIO. SERVED IN CANADA, ENGLAND, ITALY AND NORTHWEST EUROPE. AWARDED 1939-1945 STAR, ITALY STAR, FRANCE-GERMANY STAR, DEFENSE MEDAL, WAR MEDAL 1939-1945 AND CANADIAN VOLUNTEER SERVICE MEDAL AND CLASP. KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE AT THE AGE OF 31 ON DECEMBER 1, 1945. BURIED AT GRACELAND CEMETERY, RACINE, WISCONSIN.
