AWARDED PURPLE HEART AND BRONZE STAR MEDAL FOR EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS ACHIEVEMENTS IN PERFORMANCE OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE AGAINST THE ENEMY FOR THE PERIOD JULY 6 TO AUGUST 6, 1944.
