ASSIGNED TO OR SERVED ABOARD, IN TURN, THE BROOKLYN-CLASS LIGHT CRUISER USS SAVANNAH CL-42, THE BATTLESHIP USS IOWA BB-61, THE EDSALL-CLASS DESTROYER USS STURTEVANT DD-239, AND NAVAL SUPPLY DEPOT, NAVY 926 (GUAM, MARIANA ISLANDS). HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A SEAMAN FIRST CLASS ON FEBRUARY 27, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, GREAT LAKES. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL. EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL, AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL.
