HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A MOTOR MACHINIST’S MATE THIRD CLASS ON MAY 13, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION CENTER, GREAT LAKES, ILLINOIS. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL, WWII VICTORY MEDAL, AND THE PHILIPPINES LIBERATION MEDAL WITH 2 BRONZE BATTLE STARS.
