COMPLETED BASIC TRAINING AT THE NAVAL TRAINING CENTER, WOMEN’S RESERVE (WAVES, WOMEN ACCEPTED FOR VOLUNTEER EMERGENCY SERVICE), BRONX, NEW YORK, AT HUNTER COLLEGE, AND SPECIALIZED AS A STOREKEEPER. ASSIGNED TO AND SERVED AT THE NAVAL BARRACKS, WASHINGTON, D.C. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A STOREKEEPER FIRST CLASS ON AUGUST 5, 1946 AT THE NAVAL PERSONNEL SEPARATION UNIT, WASHINGTON, D.C. EARNED THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL.
