Activity During WWII

Captain Franklin Park, a Dentist, served with the 487th Railway Operating Battalion in Europe. He landed in Cherbourg, France and drove through Paris. Captain Park was on the first train to cross the Rhine River. His quarters were in the caboose of the train. He ended up in Bremen, Germany.
