HE WAS promoted FROM PRIVATE TO the grade of PRIVATE FIRST CLASS BY Lt. Colonel D. C. Cubbison. HE earned his Promotion by the ability he HAD displayed in the performance of his duties since the 'Acorn' Division joined the 3rd U.S. Army, commanded by Lt. Gen. George S. Patton, Jr. HE arrived at Camp McCoy's personnel center for redeployment. He served previously with the 334th FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION, A Battery in England, France, Belgium and Germany. He won the following DECORATIONS: EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN THEATER MEDAL WITH 3 battle Stars AND Good Conduct Medal.
