January to May 1943 Basic Training at Quartermaster School at Camp Lee, Virginia; January to November 1943, Camp Campbell, Kentucky, 341st Quartermaster Depot Company training. December 1943 (Christmas and New York) 17 days Convoy (over 200 ships), New York to England. December 1944 to France, then Liege, Belgium, Quartermaster Depot on Meuse River servicing 1st Army and 9th Army in Battle of the Bulge area. 4/1/45 (Easter) cross Rhine River at Mannheim, Germany with 7th Army. January 1946 home to Cleveland, Ohio.
