HE WAS A SERGEANT IN THE 101ST AIRBORNE DIVISION HE LANDED IN NORMANDY, MARKET GARDEN, AND THE FALL OF GERMANY. HE MISSED BASTOGNE FROM A MAJOR CONCUSSION HE RECEIVED IN HOLLAND. HE WAS AWARDED THE BRONZE AND SILVER STARS AND THE PURPLE HEART. HE THEN SAW SERVICE IN KOREA.
