Activity During WWII

When the 82nd Airborne was inactivated at Camp Claibourne, Louisiana, he left there for Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was sent to fight Hitler. First to Rome from Africa, and onto Sicily, Salerno and all other activities of the 82nd Airborne. Discharged after total surrender. He had a child born December 7, 1943. She was 22 months old before he saw his child. He was also with the 82nd on D-Day.
