Activated at Bruning Army Air Force Base, Nebraska, October 24, 1944. Trained at Dalhart Army Air Force Base, Texas, December 1944 to April 1945. Staged at Fort Lawton, Seattle, Washington, May 1945. Embarked from Seattle, Washington, aboard the U.S. Army Transport Cape Canso, May 22, 1945. Took part in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, based at Le Shima, Ryukyu Islands. Combat missions over Southern Kyushu and Korea. Deceased 1976.
