Activity During WWII

Killed in combat by German machine gun fire, on the night of February 4, 1945; while serving with the 23rd Infantry, Company G, towards the end of the Battle Of The Bulge Campaign, near Bronsfeld, Germany. Laid to rest at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Belgium along with 7,989 comrades. Volunteered to go overseas rather than stay in the U.S. as an instructor cadre.
