Served in the Air Force from 1942 to March 6, 1972. Was in the 114th Infantry as a bomber. Was shot down twice in WWII. Served 1 year in a German prison camp. Recently lost the battle to bone cancer on July 12, 1997. Buried at Florida National Cemetery.
