Twin engine airplane pilot; piloted C-47 on supply missions to the war front lines with ammunition, gasoline, personnel, food or anything that was needed for the missions. Return flights usually were loaded with wounded to be sent to various hospitals in France, England, and the U.S. Flew as co-pilot on a CG-4A Glider across the Rhine River.
