Member of the 545th Bomb Squadron, 384th Bomb Group. B-17 Pilot, European Theater of Operations until April 29, 1944. Missions over Berlin in B-17, Mexican Hayride, was shot down. Served time in 7 German POW Camps. After capture secretly notified the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) as to the location of a German jet factory, which was soon after demolished. Was in Vets Hospital in East Orange, New Jersey. Deceased.
