Activity During WWII

Assembler. I worked at the Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation in Fort Worth, Texas from 1943 to 1945 as a riveter and drill operator on B-24 bombers. I worked on the last B-24 that was made at Fort Worth, Texas. Worked until the war was over. All the single women were asked to resign so the family men could keep their jobs longer, which was the thing to do at the time.
